Biography
Nedha is a PhD Candidate at Monash Gender, Peace and Security Centre in the School of Social Sciences at Monash University, Australia. Her main research interests lie in sociology of economics, religion, development studies and women. Her doctoral research focuses on structural violence against women in microfinance in Post-Conflict Sri Lanka. Nedha holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is currently employed as a lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, University of Colombo.
