Biography
Melissa is a postdoctoral researcher/research fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. She has recently submitted her PhD thesis on mechanical ventilation and ventilator-induced lung injury, using dynamic X-ray imaging to measure regional lung mechanics. She is a former Dean’s Scholar, and has an undergraduate double degree in mechanical engineering and arts (with honours) from Monash University.
