Biography
lisahunter's research and teaching focuses on health education and wellbeing practices in formal and informal settings. Topics include sex/gender/sexuality as identities that are included/excluded in society, relationships and sexuality education, teacher education that pays attention to these settings and practices, and the informal spaces and practices of physical activity, the outdoors, and societal spheres. Their most recent book 'Surfing: Sexes, Genders and Sexualities', current work about colonialised teacher education meeting First Nations People, and Intersex Awareness explores the illusion of inclusion.
