Leanne Weber is an ARC Future Fellow in the policing of internal borders. She has been a pioneer in the theorisation of contemporary borders and in producing empirical research on border policing. Her work combines a critical criminological perspective with a background in the theory and practice of human rights. Leanne is a co-director, with Professor Sharon Pickering, of the Border Crossing Observatory, which showcases research on borders and border control.
