Kaori has work experiences in the area of palliative care in both Japan and Australia. After joining the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Kaori has been teaching undergraduate, postgraduate programs, and Japanese nursing student programs.

Kaori has completed her PhD focusing on palliative care nurses’ grief, support needs and resilience.
