Josef has more than 11 years’ experience in senior roles in government and universities advising on policy and programs, facilitating and embedding Indigenous perspectives to create more culturally-responsible environments.

As the director of Indigenous Innovation and Experience Programs to Deputy Vice-Chancellor Student Experiences (DVCSE) at Monash, he brings Elders and other cultural practitioners into the University to educate non-Indigenous audiences. He works alongside academics to embed Indigenous perspectives in curriculum and provide high-end advice on broader Indigenous strategies.
