Biography
Jacinta is a Jaru/Yawuru woman, from Western Australia, adopted and raised in Melbourne.
She’s a PhD candidate and researcher with the Monash Indigenous Studies Centre at Monash University. She’s a member of the Stolen Generations Reparations Victoria steering committee, and the recipient of the 2022 Jennifer Straus fellowship from Australian Graduate Women, the 2022 Feminist Fathers Bursary from Graduate Women Victoria, and the 2021 Marcia and Henry Pinskier Family Bursary, nominated through the Monash University Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous).
