Eleanor has worked for 20 years in the field of international development, specialising in security, justice and human rights issues. This includes many years with the UN and other organisations in post-conflict environments in the Balkans and South Asia. Her research and practice focuses on building security and justice after conflict, inclusive approaches to peace-building, and the gender dynamics of security sector reform.
