David’s research focuses on teacher pedagogies that engage all students. He has a particular interest in pedagogies that can improve outcomes for students from communities of disadvantage, focusing on issues of social justice and social inclusion.
David has established himself as a ‘go to’ expert on education. He has written more than 30 articles for The Conversation, op-ed pieces for major metropolitan newspapers as well as a number of overseas publications. He has been interviewed by print, radio, TV and online news organisations.
