Biography

Cordelia is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Monash and Director of the Australia-China Joint Research Centre (ACJRC) in Future Dairy Manufacturing. The Centre is conducting research into membrane technology and dairy manufacturing technologies, which are used by the dairy industry in the production of probiotics, protein enriched products, and infant formula.

Australia is the fourth largest dairy producer in the world behind the European Union, United States and New Zealand. Rather than trying to compete on volume with its rivals, Australia can develop a lucrative export industry by creating premium products.
