Biography
Ariaan is interested in understanding coupled ocean-atmosphere-sea ice interactions across the Southern Hemisphere, with a particular focus on Antarctic and Southern Ocean climate variability and change. Her recent work includes investigating drivers of the current low sea ice around Antarctica and examining the sensitivity of climate responses to different Antarctic meltwater projections.
