Amanda is head of the Epidemiology and Prevention Division, Stroke and Ageing Research (STAR) in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health. She's an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow, a member of the NHMRC Research Committee, a past president of the Stroke Society of Australasia, and a director of the National Stroke Foundation. She's currently leading an innovative vascular disease research program in impoverished rural communities in southern India.
